World's of Fun

This past weekend, our family went to worlds of fun. We had a great time! My girlfriend Jackie goes every year with her company so we joined them. She has two boys. One of them is 5 wks older than Micah so it's an instant playdate.

We took them to Camp Snoopy and Micah rode all but 2 rides. I was so proud of him because last year, he refused to get on anything except the ferris wheel. The adult one!!! Go figure. We arrived there at 10:30am and didn't leave until 9:45 pm. Yeah, we closed the park down. I could tell he was getting tired in the afternoon because he became a little grouch but he refused to let himself have down time. He worked through it and by the time we were headed home, I laid the seats of the truck flat so he could lie down. He was sleep before we got out of the park! Gotta love it!

This Friday June 13th, we will be taking Micah to see Thomas the Tank engine in Baldwin City, KS. We haven't told him yet as it's a surprise. If we did, we'd hear about it everyday until then. I'll update afterwards on how it went.
