We've got a hole!!!

Hi everyone, at last speak, we took pix of the sold sign on our lot. Well, on Saturday I took a pic of the lot after the developer had our side blasted (broke up the existing rock and stuff prior to the excavation crew coming to dig the basement). They laid grass and hay to prevent erosion around those areas. Here is what it looked like on 8/9/08.


As of today 8/11/08, we have a hole! The excavation crew dug the hole today and made HUGE progress. My dad was in town so he went to the lot with us to check it out. Antwan was amazed at how much rock was dug up but then began to wonder if it's going to cost us anything to do a haul off. I think we may go back within the next few weeks to get some of the rocks because they would be great in some kind of landscaping or for a wall. Here's some pix. There will be many more to come because in the next day or two, the forms will be set for the foundations then framing will start.
