Heart surgery is over and it went really well. Now we're 2 days into post-op and it's going slower than the Drs expected. Isaiah is on the pacemaker but it has been turned down just a bit. However, the meds went from being decreased to increased because he started dropping his sats again. Isaiah is just not ready to come off the meds or the vent.
Dang it! If anyone from OPR NICU is reading this.....call Children's and tell them what they need to do! :) Hehehe Isaiah is actually getting really good care. This stay so far has been so much better than the last one. Thank goodness for nurses that haven't forgotten about what "patient care" means.
Each day brings something new and today was the first day that I really felt a sense of worry. So I asked God to take my thoughts and put them to rest. I truly believe and feel he will get better soon.
