Well, we left karate class today and Micah and I decided to go see the progress on the house. Oh, check out the video at the bottom "Micah's Corner" to see my baby break a board with his foot! He is getting really good. He earned a black stripe for demonstrating all the basic moves. Micah was so excited...he really wants to move up to dragon club so he can start getting his weapons.
Ok...so about the house. We went by and the framers were still there as well as the builder. We chatted for a bit then went in to see some of the progress. Ahmad said that was their last day on the job as the framing piece was done. The temp doors were being installed and they were cutting for the tub opening. Antwan came by later to deliver drinks to the guys to say thanks! I was also told that the HVAC guy had been there and should be done with the initial install by Friday. Plumber starts on Monday Sept 29th and electrician should begin work around Tuesday. My tub is set to be delivered to the site on Monday. In a couple weeks, stucco will be on the house and the outside shell will be pretty much complete. This is really happening. Lots of life changing things going on for the Piggotts.
